Craft Meister Alkaline Brewery Wash offers the strength of brewery-grade professional caustic cleaners without producing chemical burns to your hands or skin.  Alkaline Brewery Wash will dissolve quickly in both cold and hot water and works aggressively to break down heavy fermentation residue.  Alkaline Brewery Wash is also excellent in removing stubborn bottle labels.   For the really tough jobs, allow Alkaline Brewery Wash to soak overnight or longer.  Due to its aggressive caustic properties, Alkaline Brewery Wash should not be used with aluminum.

A common question is the difference between Alkaline Brewery Wash and other oxygen-based cleaners.  The oxygen-based cleaners work with active oxygen, and over time, that oxygen cleaning ability diminishes.  Thus, long soaking periods do not offer greater cleaning.  With Alkaline Brewery Wash, however, the caustic cleaning ability will continue to be active much longer after the oxygen-based cleaners have become ineffective.    Therefore, when cleaning the really tough grime, let Alkaline Brewery Wash soak overnight, such as in a keg, fermentation bucket or carboy.
